tag ;; Megan/Scorpy (whichever she decides to use (; )
Sienna sighed as she entered the Slytherin Common Room. All of her teachers that day had given them a load of homework, either due the next day or the day after that. "Bloody professors." she mumbled to herself as she sat down at one of the tables. Her favourite subject had always ended up being Potions, yet now she wasn't exactly too sure anymore. She knew that every teacher was harsher to 7th years since it was their NEWTs, but she had never expected them to be this harsh.
She took out a piece of parchement, her quills, and her Transfiguration work, deciding that it was probably a better thing to start with the most urgent work first. They had been assigned to do an entire 5 feet of parchement of writing on a subject they hadn't even touched yet in class. Their teacher had told them to take out books from the library and read up on the subject, telling them it was for their own good if they did their own research and taught themselves about the subject. The only words that Sienna had been able to come up with on the subject were 'stupid', 'utter waste of time' and 'probably one of the stupidest things I have ever heard after the fact that Hufflepuff actually had a Quidditch team.
Which probably explained why Siena was now reading the same sentence over and over again, trying to make in sink in. Unfortunatly for her, it didn't seem to want to. She put down her quill and leaned back in her chair. If she wasn't going to be able to concentrate on the homework, then what was the use of even trying? If only there was someone who she'd be able to talk to right about now. At least she wouldn't feel completely guilty about not doing her work. Not that she ever really did anyways. She always seemed to have an excuse for not doing her work. Most of the time her teachers accepted it and let her slide.
OOC ;; Sorry, it isn't my best xO

Scorpius was sitting at one of the tables in the Slytherin common room, wondering what the hell was wrong with their teachers, and just people generally. Megan f*cking O'Brien was dating Byron f*cking Curtis. For two freaking years!! His ex girlfriend, who had humiliated him, and his so called best mate. What the hell was wrong with the world? Now onto the teachers. As much as Scorpius was trying to suck up to them, they didn't seem to notice. It was as if he was the same as just about every other kid in the school. Muggle-borns and Hufflepuffs. He wasn't going to discriminate, though, because that had been his father's mistake.
As much as Scorpius despised the new Dark Lord, the beliefs and tactics were much more clever than the Dark Lord that had proceeded her. Not discriminating students and other wizards helped prove her, and everyone else's, innocent. That wasn't to say that he loved mudbloods or anything. It was just that he didn't publicize it. After all, he needed to be on the winning side of the war to come, otherwise the Malfoy name would still be shameful. Scorpius didn't want his son growing up the way he had, and his father before. He wanted a new generation with new beliefs and new power.
His thoughts soon disappeared when someone entered the common room. A certain someone named Sienna Taylor. She was in a few of his classes, a Death Eater, and they had the same group of friends. Still, Scorpius didn't know her that well. Ms. Taylor was pretty and all, but that usually meant she lacked personality. He'd just have to wait and see.
"Hello, Ms. Taylor." Scorpius muttered, taking his books and sitting across from the girl he had just greeted. "How are you doing this fine day?"

Now able to think a tad bit more clearly ever since she had put down her quill, Sienna couldn't help but start to think of what was going to happen with the Death Eater meeting coming up. Or more specifically, what was going to happen. She knew quite a few Slytherins that were going to be attending the meeting, which was at least one advantage to going to the meeting. She had never been one to attend meetings of any kind, that she had to or not, unless there were at least two people whom she knew there. She knew that at the Dark meetings, there was bound to not only be people she knew, but interesting subjects to discuss as well. Maybe for once she'd be able to go on assignment with someone else, and not alone like usual.
The sudden sound of a voice near her made her open her eyes and sit up straight. Slacking off wasn't exactly something of which she wanted to be caught doing by any fellow Slytherin. Especially not someone in her year. Probably everyone knew that she had a reputation of a good student. Handing a majority of her work on time, and usually being quite a suck up as well. Not that she truly liked sucking up to the teacher. At times it was extremely hard to do so, especially when you found a teacher's way of teaching quite horrible and inadequate. But, if you wanted to get good marks in every subject at this school, it was something you had to be naturally good at.
Sienna looked across the table to where someone had just sat down. It was none otehr than Scorpius Malfoy, possibly the best well-known Slytherin at Hogwarts right now. Everyone knew who he was, and when she said everyone, she meant it. She remember overhearing some first year Gryffindors talking about him a while back. First year Gryffindors for Merlin's sake! They probably knew a hell of a lot more about him than Sienna did though, since she wasn't one for rumors concerning Slytherins. She only knew Scorpius from a few classes, the Dark meatings and from the fact that they had the same group of friends. Other than that, she didn't really know much about the guy.
She shot the guy a smile before answering. "Hello to you too Mr. Malfoy. I'm quite fine, except for the load of homework I have to finish off. How about you?" she asked him

Scorpius was taken aback slightly, with the politeness he got out of the girl. He had never actually heard her speak. Well, maybe he had, but he probably wasn't paying attention. The shock was visible on his face for only a brief moment, before he regained his composure and turned his expression blank and emotionless. Something he was very good at, and something he had learned from the Dark Lord herself.
Speaking of which, there was going to be a meeting soon. Scorpius could feel the watch on his wrist tightening. That was another new thing about the Dark Lord. She hadn't burned anything on their skin, but she used watches that tightened against her army's skin, so they couldn't escape alive. Once you joined, you were there for life. Scorpius's grey eyes looked her over, not a hint of coldness in them. He had a fondness for girls, excluding the one who had slapped him in front of everyone in the Great Hall. There was no way the young Malfoy could get over that. Absolutely no way. It added more humiliation to his name, and his father had most definitely not been pleased when he heard of what happened.
In fact, Scorpius had been punished. Punished for making the next Dark Lord dump him. He shivered slightly at the memory, knowing that was one thing he and Megan had in common. Cruel and strict fathers. The Slytherin wondered if Sienna had been there, personally wishing she hadn't. She probably hadn't, though, considering she was a major suck up and actually 'tried' to do her work. "You're awfully polite." Scorpius noted, a slight smirk creeping its way onto his face.
"The usual." he answered. "I'm also 'fine,' except for the fact that there is something seriously wrong with our professors. I gave up on my homework, though. I'll just tell them I had Quidditch practice or something, if a certain someone is willing to back me up on that." Scorpius added, winking at her. He knew perfectly well that she was the Quidditch Captain, and a good one at that.

Before Sienna could say anything else, she felt a slight shock of pain shoot through her left arm. The watch. There was no other explanation. There was a meeting coming up. The rather sad part about having joined the group, was that there was absolutely no escaping a meeting. Plus the watch often left a mark on Sienna's wrist, since it was pretty thin. Had it been a belt or something, Sienna would probably not have felt as much pain as she did with the watch. Well, it wasn't her fault her wrist was so thin.
She winced slightly as she felt it tightening a slight bit more. Not a wince loud enough for anyone around to hear, but possibly just loud enough for Scorpius to hear. She hated letting others know that she felt any pain whatsoever. It her mind, it made her look weak. Something she ahd alywas been taught was a bad thing. Though her parents had never really hurt her in any way when she was younger, her father was starting to force a few things onto her. Notably to never show fear or pain to anyone, friend or foe. He had started this ever since she had become a Death Eater. He didn't want her to be an easy prey for the Order or anyone of the opposite side.
The Slytherin shrugged at his comment. A lot of people never expected her to be half as polite as she really was. And some of them were right, depending on who they were. If they had ever pissed her off, she was definitley not going to be polite to them. "It always depends I guess. You haven't done anything wrong to me, so I don't see why I shouldn't be polite." she replied with a grin.
She couldn't help but feel a slight smile tug at the corner of her lips. "I was planning on using that as my excuse as well. Guess that gives me no choice to back you up, now doesn't it?" she said smirking. Being Quidditch Captain had come in handy quite a few times in the past. It gave her one slight reason to suck up a little less to her professors.

Confusion replaced the blank expression on Scorpius's face. Why was she wincing? "What's- Oh.." It took him a while to realize that it was the watch that was hurting her. It didn't hurt him, as he had been one of the first 'new' Death Eaters. But not the first, because Byron f*cking Curtis got to it first. He was second best once again. But that was another difference. You didn't wait till you were seventeen to become a Death Eater. A five year old could become one, if the Dark Lord wanted it that way.
"I like the way you think." he said, in response to the polite comment. Scorpius was only cruel if someone was watching and expecting him to be. Which was, pretty much, all the time. He did have a reputation to keep. The Slytherin's smirk become more pronounced, a small sparkle appearing in his eyes as he stared into hers. Scorpius noted that they were brown, a deep brown that could go on forever.
"Maybe we should offer them some truth?" he asked. The Slytherin was basically asking her to come fly around the pitch with him, because he was bored and tired. "By flying?" Without her response, Scorpius stood up and walked behind her, but not in a flirty or seductive way. In a casual, friendly way. He used to have the reputation of being a player, and he still kind of did. The Slytherin, however, was much more picky with who he dated. Scorpius now wanted personality over looks.

Though he barely said anything, she knew he had realized why she had winced. "It's nothing. It just...took me by surprise, that's all." she said, trying to cover up her mistake. She usually only made up excuses for her professors, and told the truth to everyone else. Or at least a majority of everyone else, but now for some reason the lie had slipped out on its own accord. Something that happened every once in a while for a reason Sienna couldn't really put her finger on. All her friends kept on insisting it happened when she was around a guy. Or, at the very least, a guy whom Sienna didn<t actually hate or even dislike. Which wasn't something that happened that often.
"I know plenty of people that think the same way as I do. They just hate to admit it. Which I don't really understand, since when did freedom of speech ever become a bad thing?" she stated, more than asked. It was true. Most of Sienna's friends had said they were only polite to those who never did anything wrong to them. There was also rhe deal of being a Slytherin, which meant that being polite to everyone wasn't exactly something that should happen too often. Which was probably why Sienna was only good friends with people in Slytherin, no matter how nice she actually tried to be to anyone else outside her house.
Sienna smiled. "Definitley. I need some fresh air anyways." she said getting up. For once, she felt greatful that she had left her broom locked up in the Captain's office in the changing room. Something which she did only when she knew the Slytherin team would be the next ones to use the room. Otherwise, she prefered to bring her broom back to her dormitory, no matter how much the other girls hated it. Her broom was always in perfect condition anyhow, so there was never any mud in the dormitory, unlike what some of the other 7th year females said. The slightest thing seemed to be dirty for them anyhow, which wasn't something that bothered Sienna that much to be honest. She may hate dirt in general, but if she was forced to get dirty when playing Quidditch, she was willing to do it.

Your voice was the soundtrack of my summer, Scorpius shook his head when she said it took her by surprise. "She's a bitch, you know that? A smart bitch, though." he muttered under his breath, so only Sienna could hear. The Slytherin felt his watch tighten a bit more, making him wince too. He was bad-mouthing the Dark Lord, something she wouldn't tolerate. Yes, he was in for it the next time they had a meeting. Which would be very soon. Ms. Taylor would be there too, to witness it. How much shame was the Malfoy family going to endure?
"Are they all Slytherins?" Scorpius asked, raising an eyebrow. There were only a few Slytherins who were polite to people in other houses in front of everyone, but he didn't think Sienna to be that type. Then again, he didn't think she was any type. Except normal. She looked normal, acted normal, sounded normal, and he was pretty sure that she tasted normal. Not that he wanted to taste her or anything. That was just creepy and......rape-ish. Just like his ex-fiance. Yes, Scorpius used to have a fiance. Her name was Jacqueline Kane, and he had spent many summers with her. Before their fifth year, however, he had caught someone raping her, which softened his personality a bit. And then, after their fifth year, Jacqueline and the rest of the Kanes mysteriously disappeared. The young Malfoy suspected it had something to do with Megan and Byron, but he was never going to find out now, was he?
Scorpius began walking when she agreed, looking back only to make sure she was following. "So......Quidditch or racing?" he asked. Those were the two things they could do. Since he was a Keeper and she a Chaser, they could practice scoring and such. Or, they could just fly around the Quidditch Pitch and race. He'd agree to either of those, but he'd let the lady decide. Scorpius had learned, over the past couple of years, that the females wanted control. If he didn't give it to them, then he'd be slapped or something of the sort.

Sienna couldn't help but agree with him inside. She knew that she'd probably really get Megan the Dark Lord angry if she said anything out, but then again, she always said what was on her mind. "Like my dad always says, there's some bitchyness in everyone, the only thing that matters is weither you show it or not. Guess she just likes to show it most of the time." she muttered back. She knew she'd probably get in trouble for saying it, but there were some things that might just be worth it. Not that calling the Dark Lord a bitch was really worth that much. "Not to mention the things I hear the other girls say about her in the dormitory." she said with no particuliar expression. If there was one thing seventh year slytherin girls were good at, it was start rumors that were probably not even close to being true.
"Surprisingly enough, no." Sienna replied. She wasn't really what you could call friends with people from other houses, but she was an attentive listener, which often came in handy at times. "Then again, I on base the comment on what I've heard around the school, not what I know for sure." she said, finishing off her comment. Might as well tell the whole truth instead of leading people to believe things by only saying part of it.
Sienna slowly followed him, pretty much going at her own pace. She went over the two choices he had offered her. Quidditch or racing...each had its cons and pros, yet none really stood out to her. "Since you'd probably beat me any day at a race, and you the best keeper I've ever seen in my life, I suppose I should let you choose." she said. Whens eh was usually in company of a guy, she was never one to make too much decisions. Whatever he wanted to do was perfectly fine with her, no matter what they thought.
[[not that this is any better...]]

Your voice was the soundtrack of my summer, Scorpius merely shrugged, not expecting this answer from Ms. Taylor. He just wanted to do his job without any consequences, but no. That wasn't gonna happen. "Yeah, whatever." he muttered, his eyes not straying from her face. "You don't seem like the kind of person many people would hate, you know." A frown was on his face, the sad type of frown. If only she knew.
It quickly turned into a smirk when she said he'd win either way. "You're not that bad of a Chaser, Taylor. Maybe we should just fly around, if you're that afraid of me?" Scorpius asked, a teasing tone audible in his voice. His broom was in hidden in the Quidditch stands, but he had used a few spells to protect them. Being a Death Eater taught you a lot of spells.
