Lily Luna Potter was sitting on the lawns studding the Black Lake. She was the quiet girl and resented that. She had three boys eyeing her and she looked away. She couldn't stand the thought of boys just wanting girls for their looks. She let her brown hair fall.
She was wearing her Gryffindor robes. She had just got done with her classes and the sun was begining to set. She gave her shy smile as it set. She wondered if she would be with a boy like her ex-boyfriend again. He was bloody brilliant, but they just fell apart. She sighed resenting the fact things ended between them.
She looked at her bag thinking about how last year she was always with him. She snapped out of her phase to see it was now dark. She shook her head and thought she had best get back to the common room. She stood up and ran right into someone. She said, "I'm sorry."

Nicholas didn't want to be outside, but the choice had been taken right out from his hands. A Professor had been duped by a ghost on the staircase, and all students have been told to go outside until the problem had been fixed. The Ravenclaw wondered if the ghost had been that pesky Peeves. That ghost just loved to play tricks. Hopefully the Bloody Baron had him under control. With a sigh, the Fourth year headed off for the lake. What a nuisance. The sun had already gone down, the last rays disappearing over the Black Lake.
His hitched his satch holding his books on his shoulder and heading off, walking down the lakes shoreline. Yes, his studies were going to have to be held off for a time. He ran a hand through his thick blond hair and grinned. Not that not studying was bad. He just... got tired of it sometimes. Even though he was a Ravenclaw even he got tired of studying day in and day out.
So lost in his thoughts, he hardly noticed the girl sitting in the grass. By the time he saw he, it was too late. He collided with her, sending his bag spinning off his shoulder, the books falling out and spilling over the lawn. He heard her stammered apology and blushed. "No, no. It was entirely my fault. I tend to daydream alot." He smiled, embarrassed. He went down on his knees and started collecting his books.

Lily saw Nicholas Black. She went a little red at hitting him. She said, "I wasn't paying attention. Lost in thought." She got on her knees and helped him get his books. She didn't know Nicholas that much. She had heard of him a few times, but not enough to really count of knowing him.
She let her brown hair fall in front of her eyes. She stared at it for a second before brushing it back. She was a klutz at times. She would get lost in thought and run into someone. She handed him the last of the books that she had picked up. She said, "I hope nothing got beat up too much." She didn't want to rip a page or something. She didn't like the thought of ruining someone stuff.
